Complete the following parts: TAIL Fast I-cord (I used 4mm hook & pink yarn -25 stitches. Approximately length of mouse) Take the tail of your yarn and make it three times as long as you want the length of your cord to end up , create a slip knot at that point. The tail end that that goes to the ball of yarn is held as usual in the left hand and is the TOP YARN, the tail end is the LOWER YARN and is pinched between the left thumb and middle finger. 1st stitch-take your hook into the center of the yarns, go down and up grabbing that lower yarn to create a Loop ,yarn over and pull through for this very first stitch. (Hold the base to get that yarn through.) 2nd stitch- take our hook into the center of the yarns, go down and up grabbing that lower yarn to create a Loop ,yarn over and pull through for this second stitch.( Hold the base to get that yarn through.) 3rd stitch and beyond-repeat to desired length. You can grab the I-cord tail as you pull through to apply slight tension. Leave yarn tails to attach I-cord to your project just above beginning magic ring. video of technique https://youtu.be/CSDtR_Kv_oA?si=cMLQxIxEn4WmXI_z EARS Attach 2 rows behind eyes -sew on WHISKERS Size 10 Lydias black crochet thread NOSE Sew inverted triangle with pink yarn

I see a MOUSE in my egg. For the ears I have decided on the thick double sided ears. FRONT OF EAR-make 2 in contrasting color. (I used acrylic medium weight, medium pink, probably Red Heart from my stash) 4mm hook R1 6SC in MR (6) R2 chain 1, turn, INC in each SC (12) BACK OF EAR-make 2 (I used same color as egg) R1 6SC in MR (6) R2 chain 1, turn, INC in each SC (12) R3 chain 1, turn, SC x3, HDC x 6, SC x3 (12) R4 using a 3 mm hook (slightly smaller hook) add front of ear to back of ear aligning 12SC arc, using the smaller hook, sc the two pieces together along the top (SC x 12=12)
