So cool. Loving this raccoon already!

Using a smaller hook. Can‘t tell if these are tiny or not yet. Were fun to crochet. Next time I might try thinner yarn too. Haha

Got my colors ready and using a 2.25 mm hook this time.

I forgot to do the 2nd round of the beak. Maybe that would make him not look so sad. I will add it.

About the same size. Both using red heart super saver yarn. But the polar bear had a 3.125 mm hook and the penguin had a 2.75 mm hook.

I did a few things wrong. Like maybe mixing yarn over and yarn under technique so the lining up above the eyes went to the side. But that‘s me. Looking forward to doing another one. Cutie.

Penguin time. Same yarn and colors. But, I got new small hooks. This time I am using a 2.75 mm. (never have before, this should be fun.)

Great pattern. Very well written. Love the instructional pictures included in the pattern.

I added a picture with it in my hand to show the sizing. He‘s about 4 1/2 inches tall. Maybe 3” wide. Cutie.

I pulled some matching yarn up through the bottom. I tugged on it to make an indentation so he‘ll stand up instead of roll over.

I cannot find my small hooks, so I will use a D, 3.125 hook. And Red Heart Super Saver Yarn. Lots of colors in my stash.
