Finished! I used 20mm eyes on my fish, and sewed the mouth on with black instead of the same color. I liked this pattern a lot. If I made it again, I‘d probably try to round the head out more, but I think I could do it easily with a different attachment method. It‘s 12 1/2” long and 7 1/2” tall.

Finished with both panels. I‘m going to sc through both panels around the edge. I‘m using 20mm safety eyes on both sides for a different look.
