I only did 3 rows for the brim because I felt it was big enough for me! I omitted using the wire since this yarn seems to want to stand up on its own!!
My stitch counts matched and now the hat has a top
I actually had to add two more rounds so that stitch count of the top piece matched the number of stitches in the ring of squares
Sue to my hook size, I only needed to complete round 6 of the top piece in order to match the ring of squares
Ring of flowers! Sewn together with the zig zag slip stitch method
I made 5 squares! I omitted the last round of single crochets because each square is already 4.5 inches and will be almost 22 inches in circumference. I dont the hat to be too big.
Love these colors!
First square finished! Using a H 5.0mm hook and worsted weight yarn, the square came to just about 4.5 inches. I might not need to make all 6 squares in order to achieve the correct circumference well have to wait and see
