I appreciated the final stitch counts for each round as those helped me stay better on track. The final product is really neat, and I'll be making more in the future. All my other notes can be found in my previous journal. For reference, I used 5.5mm hook with big twist value (4) in chocolate and cream. I finished with a rsc. My hat came out with the anticipated measurement. Thank you for letting me test; feel free to reach out with any questions!

Since my initial  journals, I have worked and frogged this hat a couple times. I had some difficulties with this pattern, largely related to knowing exactly where I was supposed to place my stitches. The stitch counts for each round were wildly helpful, but more photos would definitely go a long way to making the pattern more clear and accessible. The following are round by round suggestions for additions/areas for review. I will continue adding them as I revise my notes.

Round 1: Clarify if joining to ch2 or first dc.

Round 2: Show placement of 'first sc in next dc'. Indicate if we join to complete the round. If so, add how. If not, add 'do not join'.

Round 3: Show photo demoing placement of 'sl st in next ch1' and 'sc in next ch1' clarify if finish off means fasten off.

Round 4: Add photo showing this first color joining and the placement of first fpdc.

Indicate if we join or don't join at the end of this round.

Move 'Do not fpdc around the ch2 in rnd1' and 'This is the only round that uses a fpdc, all following rounds will use a fptc' instructions above round 4 so people can better prepare.

Also perhaps suggest in round 1 to attach a stitch marker on the ch 2 to make it easier to avoid in round 4.

For clarity, change the '2nd fptr' to '2nd fpdc' in this first instance of marking the stitch.

Round 5: Clarify 'same st as joining'. Does this mean where we joined the new color or where we joined in previous rounds or...?

Show where second sc is placed (first fptc). I find sometimes the 'next st' phrasing can be confusing, so pictures whenever possible would be a great asset.

Round 6: Does the join count as our first sc or do we go one st over?

Round 7: 'Join CA in same sc as joining of previous.' Does this mean to join new color in first sc from round 6? Will the ch1 here count as a stitch or no?

A photo showing placement of the stitches here would be great.

Do we join to the ch1 or the 'next sc' after ch1?

Round 8: Do we sc in same stitch as joining?

Do we join at the end?

Round 9: Do we join before finishing off?

Round 10: Joining of previous is a little ambiguous. Previous what?

Show where first first sc should be placed.

Indicate if joining to ch1 or first sc.

Add (i) note after round 10 to move stitch marker to new second fptc.

Round 11: No notes.

Round 12: No notes.

Round 13: Same notes as round 10.

Round 14: No notes.

Round 15: No notes.
