Description
This pattern bundle includes my sitting hen and eggs and rooster pattern.
The chubby crochet chicken has a cavity underneath to hide her eggs in. It makes for a fun project for crocheters with some amigurumi experience, as well as seasoned amigurumi enthusiasts.
The body, head, and tail are crocheted in one piece. The tail feathers are crocheted on.
The feathers at the tips of the wings are crocheted on. The wings, beak, comb, and wattles are sewn on.
The eggs will be about 2.4" long. The hen will be approx. 10" long, 7" wide, and 6" tall at the back if using the indicated hooks and yarns. If you would like her to be larger or smaller, you can use a different yarn weight and adjust the hook size accordingly.
The proud rooster will make a great addition to your amigurumi collection. It's a great project for intermediate and advanced amigurumi enthusiasts.
