Description
I've made Wesley the whale using a super chunky #6 weight plush yarn. This is ideal for a big soft and huggable toy and is a quick make, you can make your whale in a few hours. Wesley can be made with or without the white underside piece, you can decide.

The pattern is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures for step by step making and assembly. There is also an adjustment for using non-plush yarn as well as picture instructions for invisible finish, magic ring alternative and tips for sewing using jumbo chenille yarn.

I've made Wesley using super chunky weight yarn and a 5mm (H) crochet hook, he is 12.5 inches long (in jumbo he is 19.5 inches long).

The following stitches/techniques are used in this pattern: slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, increase, decrease (sc2tog), invisible finish

(This pattern is for personal use only, not to be resold or rewritten in any way. I am happy for you to sell the finished toy, but please credit the design to me.)
