My name is Alysia, and I live in South Dakota with my husband and 2 cats. I started selling finished items for the first time in December of 2020 and just recently started writing down my patterns in early 2022.
My crochet journey stared back in 2000 when my aunt taught me how to make a granny square. From there I learned everything else on my own. This was before YouTube tutorials, so 9-year-old me just made up stitches (surprisingly most ended up being real techniques!). I started by making party dresses for my barbie's and eventually moved up to making plushies for friends and family.
Most of the items I make now are D&D or TTRPG themed because it is one of my favorite and longest running hobbies (besides crochet). I am often seen crocheting while I'm playing at our weekly games. If you want to watch me crochet and also play D&D, we actually record our sessions and upload them to YouTube - Campaigns of the Plains!
