Description
Make your desk or workspace festive with this crochet drawstring bag! This bag also works great as a jar cozy and fits on a standard 12oz mason jar. This also works great as a change bag, dice bag for D&D games, gift bag for Valentine's Day treats, etc.
The stitch used for the body of this bag is the waistcoat stitch (also called the knit stitch). It is done by inserting the crochet hook between the "v" post of the single crochet.
The heart graphic is done with the tapestry crochet technique. This technique carries all yarn colors used in the project behind the main color as you crochet. If you're new to tapestry crochet, there are a ton of helpful videos available on YouTube!
I love using the waistcoat stitch for tapestry crochet projects because it is a tighter stitch and hides the carried yarn really well.
