I hate how long this is taking me, but finally ready for sleeves... 100% my fault (lack of time), not the pattern‘s!
Half way through the straps, then sleeves and last bit of seaming left.... Working as hard as I can to finish
1st front panel done! Have strap sts on holder so I can make both straps at same time after I know how much yarn I have and how long I want/need them... (No pic this time)
Trying to make this without having to seam as much at the end 1st front: using long tail cast on 25 and skip top 25 sts, pick up and knit until 14 sts left, reverse thumb cast on 5sts, skip 5, pick up and knit last 9... Then started 1st row as written For second panel I‘ll need to start at bottom to keep the seam on the same side as 1st panel (creating a WS/RS)... So I‘ll use reverse thumb cast on for both the wrap hole and the armhole... (Will probably need to add our subtract a row of shoulder to keep the decrease section correct) Will only need to seam shoulders and potentially underside of sleeve (if I don‘t figure out how to do in the round)
The back is done!! Next step is figuring out if I can add the front sections without having to seam at the end
Just over 1/3 done on the back! So far no issues understanding the instructions (only issue is finding time since Baby decided to get sick the same week Hubby had major dental surgery )
Starting test... Using Yarn Bee 44th Street in Ruby and 4.00mm needles Adding length (using XL length, but S instructions), but not doing detachable sleeves
