All parts ready to be sewn on!
Looks much better!
So, I restarted the hat with a 6 mm hook, and now it seems to be matching gauge exactly! I hope it goes well :) Switching to 7 mm hook in the beginning of round 23 to see how it helps with the color change later.
So far, so good! I believe the pattern would behave a little better in Ribblr if all the "double" lines stood in combination with each other; i.e. 31-32 sc in each st (66) rather than the rows standing separate from each other. This can be made in Ribbuild by clicking on the row number and adding - and the affected row/s below it. In row 36, I believe the line could be followed more easily if the repeat looked like this; 5 sc, (11 sc, inc)x5, 6 sc--it results in the same thing, but is a little easier to keep track of :) Otherwise the hat is looking nice so far! It bulges out a bit where the color changes, likely because of the change of hook size, but I think it will look alright once the details comes on it :)
