Description
Brighten your space or someone's day with this sweet Valentine's themed mouse!

Adora is a small mouse with a big heart - LITERALLY, and they want to share it with you all! This mouse comes with several accessory options, so you can truly make it your own!

This pattern doesn't involve particularly complex methods, but does require understanding of concepts such as crocheting in the round, using magic circle/ring, increasing and decreasing, sewing pieces, and familiarity with slip stitch, sc, hdc, dc, and trc stitches.

Because there are so many options for customization, I wanted people to be able to place their pieces in a way that suited their specific Adora, and, as a result, there is a LOT of sewing involved, but the sewing itself is not especially challenging or laborious.

Thank you so much for your interest in this pattern! You're welcome to sell any of your makes from this pattern, and I'd love to see them, so be sure to tag me on IG @foxfrogandfern or share them with me here!

Materials
Yarns
Optional, for embroidering eyes. Any color yarn, for the letter embroidery. May want to size down the yarn depending on the size of the pieces you‘re working with. Any color yarn in a weight (or two) smaller yarn for the heart garland. For example, if using Bulky yarn, use a Medium or DK weight yarn; if using Sport weight yarn, use a Fine or Lace weight yarn, etc. Main Color (body, head, limbs); I believe I used color #02 in the linked materials. Contrast Color (tail, feet, hands, nose - if embroidering); I believe I used color #37 in the linked materials. Accessory Color (heart accesories and envelope) ; I believe I used color #85 or #09 in the linked materials for the sport weight (smallest) Adora. Stem and leaf color for the rose option.
Hooks
For sport weight yarn version, I used a size 2.25 mm hook, but I always encourage people to use what works best for their particular yarn or tension.

A good rule of thumb for amigurumi is to measure the width (mm) of your proposed yarn and use the corresponding hook size.

(For reference, I typically use hook sizes: 3.25mm for worsted, 4mm for bulky (think Premier Parfait), and 6.5mm for super bulky (such as Bernat Blanket).
Needles
Tapestry/sewing needle.
Fabrics
Felt for the inner ear, nose, and any accessories. Soft, flexible or semi-flexible felt is best for this project as we want it to have some malleability.

Pink: for the inner ears and nose.

Optional: black, for eyes if you elect to use felt instead of embroidering eyes or using safety eyes.
Stabilizers
Poly-Fil stuffing or yarn scraps.
Notions
Stitch markers. Safety eyes, if using. For the sport weight version of Adora I used 6mm safety eyes.
Tools
Optional: pins for holding pieces in place before sewing. Felt glue or hot glue to affix felt pieces. Wire cutters or heavy duty scissors, if making the wired tail option. Wire or pipe cleaner/chenille stems (with the chenille trimmed down) if you want to try a wired tail variation. Scissors.
