My Basic Beanie Pattern! I made this pattern a few years ago as a quick thing to make to keep people I worked with warm when they forgot their hat or they got to cold. It takes me about 25 minutes to make a Large, but don't rush and focus on your tension.

The pattern can be worked in the round or by rows. If worked in the round, slip stitch the last hdc to the first hdc of the second to last round. Chain 1, hdc in the same stitch, then hdc around, slip stitching to the first hdc. Then continue with the pattern, slip stitching the alternating bphdc/fphdc.
