Making a pair takes me roughly an hour and a half to 2 hours.
EDIT!!!
I'm sorry! I forgot to put in the pattern something rather important! When sewing on the Flip Top, I sewed it into the third row from the top! I feel like this gave enough room to move fingers around and not get the gap of the flip top and mitten separating and making your hands cold! If more length is needed in the fingers just add another round of half double crochet or sew onto the second row from the top.
