In Greek mythology the brothers Zeus, Hades and Poseidon divided the father's inheritance and our protagonist received the Underworld, a wonderful helmet of invisibility and all the precious stones in the world.

Hades is the Lord of the Underworld, it may seem dark, but he is not evil, he is a charming, hospitable and, of all the Olympians, the most balanced and neutral, virtues acquired by the relative lonelyness of his territory.

Hades does not like to go out, but when he feels like it, he takes his chariot with his four magnificent black steeds, like the darkest night, to clear his mind. He leaves his little dog, Cerberus, a peculiar dog with several heads and not very friendly, in the care of the empire.
