Description
I used Yarn Over (YO) - normal tension
If you have tighter tension, you will end up with a smaller figurine, and if you crochet looser, you will end up with a bigger one, which can have visible holes where you can see the stuffing.
You can use a different weight yarn if you want to make him smaller or bigger; just be sure to increase the hook size as well.
Do not overstuff, nor understuff - overstuffing can change the shape of your figurine and make it heavier (especially the head). If you understuff, the figurine can end up soft with not much structure to it.
Before gluing/sewing the hair, I recommend placing everything on the head with bobby pins first to make sure every strand is in place. Then, when you're happy with the result, you can go ahead and glue/sew every piece in its place.
IMPORTANT:
Do not use plastic eyes if intended for children under 3; this is a choking hazard. Instead, you can embroider them securely using yarn or felt. Close supervision is needed, as small parts/loose ends can be hazardous to children.
