Description
These socks are part of a collection of binary code patterns based on Star Trek phrases.

You can adjust the width and length of the socks to suit your size. The main pattern is based on knit rows and purl rows. You will use 2 colours - a main colour and a contrast colour for the heel and toe (this will differentiate between the texture and flat bits.

The pattern assumes you know how many stitches fit you - there are no stitch counts - just general guides.
The length can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the number of rows of ribbing at the cuff. This pattern uses the afterthought heel method and suggests a cast on of Tubular cast on using waste yarn.
