This is the first of the Stardew Valley critters series, and these patterns are specifically designed with intarsia crochet beginners in mind. My patterns are versatile, and can be used in clothing and accessories - not just decor! Included are both the written instructions, and the graph - use what you are most comfortable with.

Since this pattern is 7 colors, I do recommend at least some experience with color changing within your projects. While experience is recommended, it is not necessary and I include some tips and tricks. If you need a crash course in intarsia/tapestry, there are so many good videos on YouTube.

I added a border around the right, left, and bottom along the edges but that is totally optional. You can add any border along the edge, I used a very simple ch 2 sk 2 sl st border in the light brown color I used within the project. The ch for hanging and dowel are both optional as well, this was intended for the purpose of wall decor. To protect the back and to cover the yarn on the back, I hot glued felt to the back of the piece - this is optional but I just like to add this to my work.
