This 2 in 1 turtle pattern gives you the freedom to customise your turtle with either fins or legs!
The turtle with legs uses single crochets with bobble stitches for the legs but there is no sewing involved whereas the turtle with fins uses single crochets only but I like to use a little bit of sewing just to really secure the fins on. Both patterns are beginner friendly but the turtle with fins can be a bit complex when crocheting on the fins so probably best when you have some prior experience reading patterns.

To create turtles of a similar size I use size 6 super chunky Bernat blanket yarn with a 5.5mm hook which usually takes about 45 minutes to make the turtle with legs and 60 minutes for the turtle with fins.
