Looking at photos of capybaras in the water gave me the idea to create this 2-in-1 trinket dish, featuring a capybara in a little pond. The dish can be used to hold jewelry or small items, but it can also serve as a phone holder. I designed it so you can comfortably rest your phone while watching a video, listening to music, or enjoying a podcast.

The pattern isn't very difficult, and I recommend it even for beginners who have some experience sewing different parts together. It's a fairly quick project that can easily be finished in a single day.
The only recommendation I have is to use a fairly sturdy or firm yarn. In my project, I used 100% cotton, but acrylic works as well. You might want to use a slightly smaller hook than recommended to make it more durable. To ensure the dish holds its shape, I would avoid chenille or very soft yarns.
