If I had to pick, I'm definitely more sloth than monkey and it's so much fun to think of how all of these different pets will reflect the personalities & moods of their wearers! Both tree climbers only take me about an hour to make. The monkey is no sew other than the face embroidery. The sloth requires a little sewing (just the eye patches) and the face embroidery. You can choose to make long leg ties or incorporate hair elastics for the arm bands.

This pattern is designed for use with Premier Parfait Chunky or a similar weight yarn, and a 5 mm hook. They work up great in any weight though.

I hope you enjoy making your tree climber pets so much that you end up making an army of them! :)
