Stitch Library
ch(s) - chain(s)
sl st - slip stitch
st(s) - stitch(es)
sc - single crochet
rsc reverse single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
tr (or trc) - triple (or treble)
crochet
inc - increase (add one or more stitches)
dec - decrease (remove one or more stitches)
sc/hdc/dc/tr xtog - half double crochet x stitches together
x sc/hdc/dc/tr in 1 stitch - x half double crochets in the same stitch.
Same as (sc/hdc/dc/tr x inc)
blo - back loop only
flo - front loop only
bp - Back post
fp - Front post
x - repeat instructions between brackets for as long as stated
[ ] - stitch inside the same stitch
(xxx) = total number of stitches.

Pattern Overview and Tips
General Overview:
All the variations have two things in common with variations: the main coaster body and flowerpot. Refer to each section to create different accessories (Edge lacing, flowers & leaves, other small decorations). The color combination table is provided and should be used as reference. You can crochet each piece according to your preferences.
All the accessories are incorporated into the main body through the meaning of crocheting.

Notes:
1. Each section will indicate which technique to use
a. Row Stitch technique: End each round with turning chain (End each row with a turning chain (ch1 or as indicated in the pattern and turn the crochet))
b. Joined Rounds: End each round with a sl st and start each round with a starting chain (ch1 or as indicated in the pattern, or as written in the instructions)
i. Sl st to the first stitch of the round for each round
ii. Using a stitch marker is optional. Place it at the first stitch for each round.
iii. Start with the turning chain: if it's sc then ch1, if it's dc then ch2 at the start of each round
iv. Rnd1 starts with a slip knot (magic ring then ch1 if sc, ch2 if dc as the turning chain)
v. The turning chain on each round doesn't count towards the stitch count.
2. Stitch separated by commas are in its own stitch. For ex: (inc), (inc). Means 2 sc in 1 stitch, and 2 sc in the next stitch.
