If you've been following my work for a while, you know I love using crochet stitches that imitate a knit-like texture, and this headband is no exception. It's worked up using only simple stitches making it a very meditative project that can be easily completed over a weekend. The headband itself calls for DK weight yarn and a 5.5 mm hook which is a bit larger than the recommended hook size. I chose to do this so that the headband would work up faster, and use less yarn, resulting in a light and stretchy fabric. However, the headband still remains dense and traps heat effectively because of its 2-layered fabric. I already know this will become a staple among my winter accessories, and I'm planning on crocheting many more of these to gift during the holidays!
