Description
Cottagecore and farmcore style crossbody bag. I personally made it to fit into my Anne With an E dream aesthetic, but colour adjustments will make the vibe totally different.

Cords in crochet look intimidating, but when worked in the round they are way less complicated since there is less going around stitches.

Pattern notes:
-when the pattern says n sc, it means one sc in each of the next number of stitches n is.
-instructions between brackets [ ] refer to instructions for cables; to separate them from other stitches and avoid confusion.
-usually, cable works require back post stitches as well as front post stitches, but since it is worked in the round only front post is utilised.
-the cables used are fairly simple, and every stitch is worked over the previous ones; no maneuvering over and under stitches.
-if you can't find chunky yarn, you can triple pull size 2 yarn to get the same effect.

Special stitch Alternate Double Crochet
adc: after a slst pull the yarn up about 2cm, so you have a big loop on your hook. Hold it with your thumb and yarn it over, insert your hook into the st you slst into, yo, pull through, yo, pull through the new loop and the loop created by yarnning over the big loop, yo, pull through remaining loop.
This st has other names like standing double crochet and alternative turning stitch. You can substitute it for a ch3 but it gives a cleaner look.
