Description
Splish splash ! Look at this little dolphin, playing around in the water !
This crochet pattern describes how to crochet an adorable dolphin amigurumi as shown on picture. The dolphin will be worked in continuous rounds.
Finished length will be approx. 9,8" (25 cm), crocheted with hook size C (2.5 mm) and using cotton yarn (sport weight, SMC Catania was used to create the dolphin in the picture).
If you wish to make a taller or smaller version of this amigurumi, you can just use thicker or thinner yarn / crochet hook. This pattern is also suitable for wool or acrylic yarn.
Gauge is not important for this pattern, just crochet tight enough so the stuffing will not show through the stitches.
Materials used:
- Crochet hook size C (2.5 mm)
- Fiberfill stuffing, safety eyes 9 mm
- Cotton yarn in any color you wish (approx. 75 gr / 185 meter, 200 yards)
- Stitch marker, tapestry needle, pins, black embroidery floss, optional: small velvet bow
Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, increasing, decreasing
Skill Level: advanced beginner
