Hey y'all!

This is my first pattern design. Yay! I had seen tons of these pumpkin coaster designs out and about but none of them were working up the way I wanted, with the right shape and dimensions, so I fiddled around and came up with this.

It uses simple stitches, but you do have to pay attention on rows 3-5 because there's a lot of stitch switching to help achieve that pumpkin plumpness.

I used two colors of Lion Brand's 24/7 cotton (worsted weight, 4). They recommend a 4mm hook and that worked out great for me. You can always adjust as you like, but I do recommend a cotton yarn for coasters so they're wash and heat friendly.
