Description
Our daughter loves eating apples and will work on one all afternoon. I love that she loves fruit, but I dont love the brown stains her clothes get from the apple juice dribbling down her cute little chin. The solution is obvious, a bib (we call these apple bibs here). But I also wanted it to be a cute solution to wear with her outfits away from the table for so much of the day. Inspired by vintage bibs and the desire for it to look more like an accessory than a necessity, its both large enough and cute enough to use at the table for more formal occasions. So eat up!

What materials are needed for Apple Blossom Bib?
To make Apple Blossom Bib you will need: 4 weight (worsted) cotton. I used Paintbox Recycled Cotton in Jam, Peachy and String. Skeins are 3.5 oz, you will need less than 1.8oz to make one bib., Notions: scissors needle to weave ends (I like leather working needles) Option 1: snaps (I used the large plastic snaps for cloth diapers) snap installer appropriate for snaps being used Option 2: one 1/2@Q- 3/4 diameter button (I find ones with printed designs on them tend to lose the designs in the wash, especially on wood buttons).
