I've always wanted to take a 'spin' at my version of a classic spider-web top for the Halloween season. A very easy, beginner friendly project that whips up quickly. All you need to know is how to chain, slip stitch, and triple crochet! Whether you need a last minute costume or just a quick layering piece to add to your transitional summer to fall wardrobe this is the top for you.

This pattern includes instructions for specific measurements of this top, but it is also a pattern that can be very easily modified for the perfect fit to your body by just adding or subtracting rows. I love made to measure patterns, but I always find myself in the pickle of making a surprise gift for someone else and never knowing how to get their measurements.

Pattern uses any worsted weight yarn and a size 5mm/H crochet hook. Locking stitch markers or safety pins are very helpful for this pattern as well when it comes to assembly. Gauge is not needed for this project, although I do recommend crocheting loosely for an organic, draping look.
