Description
“This is the Arkenstone of Thrain," said Bilbo, “the Heart of the Mountain; And it is also the heart of Thorin. He values it above a river of gold." ~ J. R. R. Tolkien, The Hobbit

This hat is a quick project that is easier than it looks! It uses the same gauge as my Arkenstone Pullover, which is the matching pullover, so it works well as a functional swatch!

Yarn: This is a one skein hat! The sample uses fingering weight held double, but it can also be knit with DK weight held singly.

The sample uses Woolly Yak in the “Moss" colorway.

This pattern has been professionally tech edited for accuracy and clarity and has been tested for functionality, accuracy, and clarity.

My thanks to Melissa Metzbower for tech editing
