About the Pattern:
This beginner-friendly pattern is for a striped Tunisian crochet adjustable bow-tie that is worked up in pieces and sewn together. A normal crochet version is also included.
Yarn:
11 yards of Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton in Navy
5 yards of Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton in Red
12 yards of Big Twist Yarn in White or Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton in White
8 yards of Aunt Lydia's Metallic Crochet Thread in Silver
Needles & Hooks:
4.5 mm crochet hook
4.0 mm Tunisian crochet hook that is at least 6 in. long
Notions:

3/4 in. button (2)
Gauge:
Gauge is not crucial for this project. If the bow and band are too big, use a smaller hook size and if the bow and band are too small, use a bigger hook size. As an approximation: a 1 in. square consists of 5 st. over 5 rows in Tunisian simple stitch.
Finished Size:
The finished size of the bow is approximately 4.5 in. wide x 3 in. long and the adjustable band allows a fit for a range of baby to adult sizes. (15 in. laid flat unstretched)
