Description
*Intro: Meet Buzz the Astronaut! This adorable space explorer can be made in either cotton yarn or chenille yarn.
*The base pattern will be worked in cotton yarn. To modify the pattern using chenille yarn, use #6 super bulky weight Premier Chenille Basix yarn and a 7 mm hook in the same colors.
*This pattern is worked in a continuous spiral. Some parts (the feet and the backpack) are worked in an oval spiral. The chest pad is worked in rows.
Sewing on the smaller details such as the ear covers and the chest pad may be tricky due to the size - an optional modification would be to use fabric glue to secure them in place.
*Measurements: 4.5 in. x 3 in. [~11 cm x ~8 cm] if using the base pattern and working in cotton yarn.
