Description
The Auchenbach batwing cardigan is an easy knitting pattern for beginner knitters. It is oversized and cosy and those batwing sleeves mean you can layer over your other knits to stay super warm and stylish when you nip out for a coffee.
The cardigan is knitted sideways all in one piece so there's very little seaming - always a good thing!
Instructions are provided so you can add more length to create even more cosiness once your first sleeve is completed.
The cardigan is worked flat starting at one sleeve cuff and working the first sleeve, then the body is worked by casting off and casting on stitches. The second sleeve is worked by mirroring the easy shaping of the first.
You will need to know how to:
cast on
bind off
make a stitch
knit 2 together
