Description
Axolotl (noun) ah-show-lot: A South American aquatic salamander.

Check out this axolotl crochet pattern! Both adorable and ambitious, this crochet axolotl works up pretty quick since it mostly double stranded worsted weight yarn and half double crochets with the exception of the external gills and dorsal fin.

Skill level recommended is intermediate. The pattern itself is easy to follow, but working with the double stranded worsted weight yarn, esp in the smaller areas like the legs and tail tip, can be really hard on your hands/wrists. This pattern could also be good for a confident beginner who wants to level up their skill set.

All rounds are worked continuously, no need for joining (unless you want to).

This crochet pattern is part of a kit and will always be freely available!
