Description
Originally made this for my boyfriend as a surprise summer gift (Axolotl #1 was named Mortimer) and recently gave the design a few tweaks to improve on the original. Ergo, this pattern was made.
Uses simple techniques such as working in the round, increasing and decreasing stitches, and requires a moderate amount of sewing. Crocheters will need to be familiar with both single and double crochet stitches.
I recommend using a chenille yarn for this project (I used Flutterby yarn, but any should work).
