What materials are needed for Axolotl Pattern?
To make Axolotl Pattern you will need: Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn. I used the blue-green color for the plushie., Mainstays Acrylic Yarn in black is alsoneeded, but only if you are hand-sewing the eyes. This item is optional., I chose to use safety eyes instead of hand-sewing them.. Tools required: You@qll need a 6.5 mm hook for this project., You will also need a yarn needle or a tapestry needle. If you use a yarn needle, I highly recommend a metal one. Plastic needles bend inside the project, and are much harder to use for this. If you use a tapestry needle, use one with a blunt tip so you don@qt split the yarn., Make sure you have a good pair of scissors. Baby blanket yarn is thick and needs bigger scissors to cut it. Tiny thread scissors will struggle to cut this yarn..
