Note: This elephant is worked in waistcoat stitch, which looks like knit. You don't have to work in waistcoat stitch, but your elephant will look different. Waistcoat stitches work up very tight and can be tiring for your wrists and fingers, I recommend using a larger hook than you normally would for your yarn and crocheting with a looser tension.
