Description
Knitting pattern for a baby Cardigan and bonnet set. Sizes newborn to 6 months old.
The jumper and hat have a little bubble popcorn pattern. The outfit is knit in Aran / Worsted yarn, making it quick to knit up. It is knit flat, not in the round, and from the bottom up, making it a simple pattern for a new knitter with basic skills to follow. The sleeves are simple rectangles, with no shaping- again easy to make. The matching bonnet is knit flat, with a small seam at the back.
The pattern comes with lots of photos to help you along, and the bubbles are a lot simpler than you think!
PLEASE NOTE: For some reason Ribblr is calling the 0-3 month pattern size "only months" - this is the 0-3 month / then 3-6 months are in parenthesis.
I usually knit using a circular needle, as I find it faster, but I knit back and forth, not in the round, so you can use either circular needles or straight needles and do the same.
The cardigan is knitted in one piece from the bottom up to the armhole shaping.
