This basic beanie is sized from newborn to adult. You can make the beanie as designed or use it as a template for a number of different styles (earflaps, pom poms, etc.). This beanie is made with double crochet in the round.
Any yarn can be used for this pattern but if a weight 4 yarn is not used you will need to adjust your sizing, as the pattern will turn out the correct size.
