I received a custom order for a bear bucket hat, so I adapted my frog bucket hat pattern and the bear bucket hat pattern was created.

This pattern is beginner friendly, as long as you have some basic crochet knowledge and know how to read a pattern. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

For this bucket hat I used Elle Pure Gold, a DK (weight 3) yarn, and a 4.00mm crochet hook. Any yarn that can be crocheted with a 4.00mm crochet hook will be suitable (incl. aran yarn). I recommend using a natural fibre, such as cotton or bamboo, as it will be cooler in the summer.

The finished bucket hat is one size fits all, and is made to fit an adult.
