Beau the Butterflyfish makes a great project for intermediate crocheters and up.
The fish will be approx. 4.3" long if using the indicated hook and yarn. If you want it to be larger or smaller you can use a different yarn weight and adjust the hook size accordingly.
The head and body are crocheted in one piece. The dorsal, anal and tail fins are crocheted on. The pelvic fins and markings are sewn on. The mouth is embroidered.
