This pattern is for a large messenger bag. Perfect for daily use
The bag and flap are made from the bottom up in one piece. The straps will be made and sewn on
This pattern uses sc, hdc, DC, ehdc (extended half double crochet), hdc2tog, and ehdc2tog.
The ehdc, ehdc2tog and hdc2tog have written instructions and videos on how to do them.
I wanted this pattern to be as user friendly as possible so anybody can do it.
I'm using a self striping yarn so no need to switch colors.
Size is adjustable. If you want it smaller in total size, chain less on the foundation chain.
If you want it taller, add more rounds to the body of the bag, before moving onto the flap
