Description
This moss stitch headband is a quick and easy make, that's perfect for whipping up on a rainy day or to give as a Christmas gift.
The numbers in parentheses at the end of a row are the stitch counts for each size.
The single crochet always goes in the chain space. You always skip the single crochet with a chain 1.
You are working in continuous rounds so you do not need to slip stitch the rows. (All sizes have the same amount of rows; you may add extra rounds).
SUBSTITUTIONS
Please feel free to substitute any other yarn you love. Keep in mind that you will need to make a gauge swatch, and possibly go up or down a hook size depending on your yarn choice.
Gauge for medium weight - 4×4" = 17 Sts by 14 rows (with 5mm hook, alternate 1 Sc and 1 Ch)
Gauge for a bulky weight 4x4" =14 stitches by 11 rows (with 8mm, alternate 1 Sc and 1 Ch)
