Description
The pattern is perfect for advanced beginners! The following techniques are used: double crochet, slip stitch (to attach panels) and half double increase and decrease. You'll be using a triple strand of yarn for a large part of the pattern. Progress pictures have been added in to help you on your way.
This bag is made up of two panels (front and back), one long strap that'll also be used to attach the two panels, and a big bow. It can be worn as a tote bag or as a crossbody/messenger bag.
Materials needed:
- Yarn: I used 5 skeins of DROPS Air (10 ply / aran / worsted) (220 g, approx. 675 m)
- A 5mm crochet hook
- A 8mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
- Optional: stitch markers
