Description
An adorable little bat with wings you can wrap him up in!

Welcome to the spooky season!
With Halloween around the corner, I simply had to design little Bigglesworth. He is a huge hit with my boys and they just love wrapping him up in his own wings. He’s perfect for halloween and cute enough to stick around once all the spooky madness is finished!
(P.S.: I wrote this pattern when my boys were little... they are now taller than me! It’s not much of an achievement as I’m vertically challenged but this little bat always brings back such sweet memories of when my babies were little!)
The yarn I used for Bigglesworth has been discontinued. You could substitute the yarn for your favourite DK yarn brand. Yarnsub.com is always a useful tool for finding good substitutuions.
I designed this toy when my boys were little and liked to take things apart! Therefore, I didn’t use any safety eyes for this toy. If you’d like to use these instead of making the eyes in this pattern, I suggest using 10 or 12 mm safety eyes.
What you may do with this pattern:
Feel free to knit this pattern as many times as you want. You are welcome to sell the items you create at markets, in your store, or anywhere else. While a shout-out to Cilla’s Purls is appreciated, it is not mandatory.
Please refrain from sharing, reselling, or republishing the pattern file itself, and do not duplicate the text or images in your own designs.
Considerable time and effort are invested in creating these patterns. Unfortunately, over the years, there has been a rise in scammers and thieves who sell my and other designers’ patterns as their own. If you come across an unauthorized copy of my pattern, please inform me so I can take action to prevent it.
