My inspiration for this and the rest of my farmhouse animal patterns came from the adorable animals my husband and I raised on our farm years ago. I miss them all!

This C2C square can be used on its own to make a pillow case, tote bag, baby lovey, small pet blanket, wall hanging; or it can be mixed and matched with other square patterns I will be sharing with you so you join your farm animal squares together to make them into a blanket, throw or large wall hanging (as pictured here to the left).

This pattern includes a color chart and written instructions. It is made using the Classic C2C crochet, which uses chain stitches and double crochet. It also involves color changes.

Yarn: To make this pattern, you can use any worsted weight yarn. I used scraps of Hobby Lobby, I Love This Yarn. Other affordable yarn options would be Love Crafts Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran, Red Heart Super Saver or Caron Simply Soft.
