I’m a complete chicken when it comes to horror games. I will not even watch other people play them, especially jump scare games. Binding of Isaac is one of those games that is a mix between horror and adventure. While the game doesn’t have any jump scares or “Rated R" violence and gore like modern horror games, it does have an unsettling storyline that might as well classify it as such.

Binding of Isaac is about a young boy named Isaac, whose mother locks him in his room and is getting ready to sacrifice him. He escapes to the basement and fights monsters throughout these dungeon-like rooms. The weirdest and most messed up part is that he uses his tears as a weapon, and has to face his mother as the final boss.

That’s totally creepy and messed up, right? Fortunately, Isaac has Beggars to help him along the way. When Isaac gives them donations of pennies, keys, or hearts, they will drop an item to help make him stronger.

There are three different types of Beggars: Normal Beggars, Devil Beggars, and Key Masters. Since they are the only good creatures in this game, I decided to turn them into cute amigurumis.
