This pattern is part of my market makes series!
The idea for this hat came from the increases on a granny square blanket I was working on. I wanted a bucket hat that looked like the granny square - The African Violet
This is a pattern for a standard size bucket hat. Instructions are not specific to sizing, and sizing can be increased or decreased based on the crown size by doing increases in the round or stopping at a certain point for a smaller hat. Partial guidance is given during increases and creation of the cap portion to maintain stitch count, but "Bucket" portion of the hat that is similar to the granny square it's based off of will not have stitch counts in case of sizing differences.
This pattern would be wonderful for markets as it's extremely easy to work up, combining nostalgic elements of the granny tiles in blankets with the current bucket hat trend.
It is currently listed under intermediate due to stitch placement and color changes. Pattern is likely on the beginner side of intermediate patterns
