Description
One of the kids leaving my husband's summer program had a request of a capybara for a going away gift. While there's cute patterns out there, I wanted something a bit bigger (but not huge) that also had some cute element so here is the fancy capybara as requested by the student! Also the student chose the name Bob

This pattern is written in continuous rounds except where stated. It does involve some sewing but the body and head are continuous. The top hat also requires a tiny bit of surface crochet. If you haven't done that before, I suggest looking up a video tutorial. It's pretty easy and a great way to add simple touches.

All decreases are invisible decreases.

He is top heavy so if you want him to stand on his own, my suggestions are to use some weighted pellets in the body or be super meticulous about not over stuffing the head and getting leg placement right.

I don't mind you selling your makes but please give credit. Also please do not redistribute or steal my pattern as your own!
