Hi friends! Welcome to my very first pattern design: the boba octopus! I am super excited to start dipping into designing patterns, so thank you for being here!

This pattern is NO SEW! It is worked in continuous rounds. It is intended for intermediate-level and above crocheters, but an advanced beginner may be able to work through the pattern! It is also very customizable; feel free to change the straw color, body/drink color, and boba colors! It can also be worked up with different types of yarn. Some stitches/techniques you will need to know:
- single/half-double/double crochet (sc/hdc/dc)
- bobble (BBL): in this pattern, it involves 4 dc
- increase & decrease (I use invisible decrease)
- color changes (I do color changes by working half of the stitch before I am supposed to color change and finishing the stitch with a new color
- working in FLO and BLO
- fastening off and sewing closed
