Description
Hi friends! Welcome to my very first pattern design: the boba octopus! I am super excited to start dipping into designing patterns, so thank you for being here!
This pattern is NO SEW! It is worked in continuous rounds. It is intended for intermediate-level and above crocheters, but an advanced beginner may be able to work through the pattern! It is also very customizable; feel free to change the straw color, body/drink color, and boba colors! It can also be worked up with different types of yarn. If you have any trouble with the pattern, please feel free to reach out and I will do my best to assist you. I would love to see your makes here and on Instagram (@yarnomaly)!
Some stitches/techniques you will need to know:
- single/half-double/double crochet (sc/hdc/dc)
- bobble (BBL): in this pattern, it involves 4 dc
- increase & decrease (I use invisible decrease)
- color changes (I do color changes by working half of the stitch before I am supposed to color change and finishing the stitch with a new color
- working in FLO and BLO
- fastening off and sewing closed
