This is a basic template for a box cover to hide my boring grey box in my entry hallway.

Each style must be completed with a border

Pom pom cottage style cover:

Use 100% cotton and neutral colours. This project isn't suitable for yarn any smaller than 4mm recommended hook size. I recommend a needle size of 5.5mm.

Pom pom bright non cotton cover:

Ignore the DC chain 1 web instead continuing instead with the rule of thumb: row 4 of SC then bobble stitch.

The yarn I used was worn for most of the cover. I am writing the initial notes I used. For example. Notes are based on a foundation chain of 34. Then continuous rows of 33. When I proof read my pattern the yarn hadn't been used so I instead used an extra 4 stitches. (38 chain) Row of 37. Bobble pattern instead: 10sc, bobble stitch, 7sc, bobble stitch, 7sc, bobble stitch, 10 SC.

The patterns based from measurements if your box is considerably wider make more pom poms using the template as a guide. *Not suitable for sticking onto plastic boxes*
